winter session questions

How much is a winter session?

Pricing depends on the session and your group, so I'll send it along with your date options within 24 hours of your request. Book during a booking wave and you'll also get a $75 print credit.

Will I get photos in time for holiday cards?

Yes, if you pick a November date. Galleries arrive within 1 to 2 weeks, so Nov 22nd and Nov 29th sessions leave plenty of time to order cards.

What if it rains?

I watch the forecast closely. If rain is likely, we'll move to the next open date at no charge. At-home baby sessions go ahead in any weather, and a little overcast just means soft, flattering light.

What should we wear in winter?

Pick 2 to 3 colors and layer: knits, coats and scarves look great on camera and keep everyone warm. Skip big logos, and bring a cozy layer for little ones between shots. I'll send ideas after you book.

Can grandparents and cousins join?

Absolutely. Choose the extended family session, and I'll help you build a shot list so every grouping is covered. The holiday-visit dates (Dec 27th, Jan 2nd and Jan 3rd) are perfect when everyone's in town.

Can our dog come?

Of course! Pets are always welcome. Bring a leash and some treats.
